01 · Three kinds of thing you can ship
Apps. Web apps. Websites.
The same 60-second deploy. Three different stories. Pick the one that fits what you're building.
Apps
Phone-first. Installable. Works offline. No review queue.
best for: AI-built micro-tools, habit trackers, capture + journal tools, single-purpose utilities
Web apps
Real tools that live on the web. Tabs, URLs, desktop-friendly.
02 · Shippie vs the alternatives
Honest on purpose.
Each of these does something well. So does Shippie. Here's the honest diff.
| Shippie | App Store | Vercel | Glide | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Time to live | 60 seconds | 14 days | 60 seconds | minutes |
| Revenue share | 0% | 30% | 0% | plan-tiered |
03 · Things Shippie is not
We're narrow on purpose.
✗ Not a native app builder
Your app runs in a browser and installs via PWA. If you need the App Store SDK, ARKit, or push sent through APNs, Shippie isn’t it.
✗ Not a no-code tool
You ship code you wrote (or your AI wrote). We package it, host it, and wire up PWA + marketplace. We don’t generate it.
✗ Not your data warehouse
Auth, storage, database — those stay on your own Supabase or Firebase. We host your frontend. Your users never touch our servers.
04 · The loop
Deploy is the beginning.
Every app ships with a feedback channel wired in. Your AI tool reads the feedback through MCP and iterates. The loop is the product.
Ship
60-second deploys via MCP, GitHub, or CLI. Your app goes live instantly.
Hear
Structured feedback — feature requests, bugs, upvotes. All in one place.
Build
Claude Code reads the feedback via MCP. You iterate in minutes, not weeks.
Ship again
Push updates. Users get them instantly. Version history and rollback built in.
Manifesto
The web was supposed to be open.
An app shouldn't take two weeks to reach a user. It shouldn't cost 30% of every dollar it earns. It shouldn't require a company to review it. It shouldn't die when one corporation decides it should.
Web apps already run on every phone. PWAs already install. The plumbing is there. What's missing is the ritual — the one-minute path from “I built this with AI” to “someone installed it on their phone.”
That's Shippie. We host your frontend at a real URL, make it installable, and never touch your data. Your backend is yours. Your code is yours. Our code is open source (AGPL). Fork it. Self-host it. Leave when you want.
No app store. No review. No 30% cut. No gatekeeper.
— the Shippie makers
Your first app is 60 seconds away.
No review. No credit card. No one telling you it isn't ready.
