The practical rules for using, launching, and sharing apps on Shippie.
Updated June 11, 2026
Using Shippie
You can browse and run many Shippie apps on this device. Add a phrase when you want backup, restore, and sync; use maker access when you want to ship apps, manage private access, publish listings, or use dashboard features.
Do not use Shippie to harm people, distribute malware, exfiltrate data, spam users, violate law, or bypass platform security boundaries.
Shippie is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or deploy apps if you are not old enough to do so under the laws that apply to you.
Shipping apps
Makers keep ownership of their code and content. By deploying to Shippie, you give Shippie permission to host, scan, wrap, package, cache, display, and serve your app so users can open it.
You are responsible for the rights to your app, its dependencies, its content, and any services it contacts.
- Public listings must be honest about what the app does.
- Private apps must not rely on obscurity as their only security model.
- Apps that attempt to steal data, hide network behavior, or attack the Apps runtime may be removed.
Ship
Ship lets you publish a single digital artefact as a short-lived link. Sealed shipped items are encrypted in your browser and Shippie cannot read them; shareable items are public pages Shippie can read and scans for secrets and phishing. All shipped items expire automatically.
You are responsible for the content you ship and for who you share a sealed link with. Because a sealed link contains the decryption key, anyone you give the link to can read the shipped item.
Acceptable use
Do not use Shippie — including apps, listings, shipped items, and shared links — for phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution, or any illegal content or activity.
Shippie removes violating shipped items and apps and may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. A suspended shipped item stops serving immediately.
Copyright and abuse
To report content that infringes your copyright (DMCA or equivalent), or to report phishing, malware, or other abuse, contact hello@shippie.app with the URL and a description of the issue. Shippie will review and may remove or suspend the content.
Local data and backups
Shippie provides on-device platform features, but local data can still be lost if a device is cleared, a browser profile is deleted, storage is evicted, or a user removes the home-screen app.
Use export, transfer, or backup flows for important data. Backup, sync, relay, and private spaces are optional features that may store or move sealed data plus technical metadata.
Paid plans during launch
Paid professional and team plans are handled manually during launch. Prices, scope, support levels, and billing cadence must be confirmed in writing before work starts.
If something is wrong with a paid launch engagement, contact hello@shippie.app. We will review refund or credit requests case by case unless a written order form says otherwise.
Availability
Shippie is offered as-is during launch. We work to keep the platform available and safe, but we may change, limit, suspend, or remove features and listings to protect users and the service.
